The Experience

You don't have to know how to do this. That's my job.

What to Expect…

Maybe you love having your picture taken.

Or maybe the thought of standing in front of a camera makes you want to suddenly remember an important appointment in another state.

Either way, you're welcome here.

You don't need to know how to pose. You don't need to know what to do with your hands. Your kids don't need to behave perfectly. Your partner doesn't need to be excited about pictures. And you absolutely do not need to wait until you've lost ten pounds, feel more confident, have the perfect wardrobe, or somehow become “photogenic.”

You just need to show up. I'll take care of the rest.

Before We Ever Pick Up the Camera

It starts with getting to know you.

What are we celebrating? Who are the people you love? What do you want to remember about this season of your life? And just as importantly—what are you nervous about?

We'll talk through location, clothing, timing and all the little details so that when session day arrives, you aren't wondering what you're supposed to do.

We've already got a plan

While We're Together

This is where you get to stop worrying about pictures and simply be present.

I'll guide you when you need direction and step back when you don't. I'll fix the stray hair, tell you where to put your hands and give you something to do when standing there smiling at me feels completely ridiculous.

But I'm also watching for everything happening in between—the glance, the belly laugh, the little hand reaching for yours, the moment nobody planned.

Those are often my favorites.

After the Session

Then you get to see yourself the way I saw you.

Not overly posed. Not transformed into someone you don't recognize. Just you—beautifully, honestly and fully present in your own life.

I'll take care of the editing and guide you through what comes next, so your photographs don't have to spend the rest of eternity forgotten in a folder on your phone or computer.

Come As You Are.

You don't need a special occasion to deserve photographs that matter.

Sometimes the reason is a wedding, a new baby, a graduation or a business you've poured your heart into.

And sometimes the reason is simply:

This is my life right now. And I want to remember it.

That's reason enough for me.
